Can you believe January is already over??
Well, the days may be going by quickly, but the data is in, and the new year is off to a slow start on the Real estate front.
With only 9 sales there isn’t much data to look at but with 21 new listings inventory is starting to pick up! % of the asking price is holding around 100% and the average time on the market is sitting around a month not too bad for a Haliburton winter.
Given the lack of sales, it’s no surprise that the average sale price for both waterfront and residential properties has taken a considerable dive, those numbers will likely increase as we come into summer and a wider range of properties come on the market.
Buyer’s don’t wait! The really good properties are still moving very quickly especially well-priced residential homes in Haliburton if you see something you like book a showing right away!
Pre-COVID trends seem to be returning, hopefully pointing to a significant pick-up in the spring and a busy summer!
