February 2022 Real Estate Market Report
February was another crazy month for real estate in Haliburton!
Waterfront and residential prices are up 25% at $1,305,704 and 19% at $575,393 respectively from this time last year. We are seeing sale prices at 17% over asking for residential and 26% over asking for waterfront! In most cases that translates to about $200,000 over asking, with the occasional property selling for more than $400,000 over asking. The majority of properties are being listed with an offer date that is 1-2 weeks out which is giving us an average time on the market of 8 days for waterfront properties and 11 for residential.
February saw a record-breaking sale for residential properties in Haliburton County at $1.5M, all these stats translate to a very hot Seller’s Market! If you have a property to sell now is the time to do it! Even vacant land has seen a huge boom with many parcels selling for over asking.
